BMWs CAS - DME Removals

Pre 2008 we only require the CAS module generally located under the drivers footwell covers, held in by 1 x 10mm bolt, 2 plugs,
Post 2008 these are generally encrypted CAS modules and we will also require the cars DME module located in the engine bay


Mercedes EIS Removals
2001-2014 we only require the igniton EIS module, unscrew the face retainer cap using either 2 flat screw drivers or a Mercedes EIS removal tool, push unit in & removing the lower footwell plastic cover held on by 3 screws reaching up to retrieve the EIS module, this has 2-3 plugs along with the transmission cable that needs unhooking.

  • Pre 2008 we only require the CAS module generally located under the drivers footwell covers 3 x screws, held in by 1 x 10mm bolt, 2 plugs.
    (Basic Skill Level to remove)
  • Post 2008 these are generally encrypted CAS modules and we will also require the cars DME module located in the engine bay.
    (Intermediate Skill Level to remove)
  • 2012+ Change to CAS4/FEM/BDC systems, we will require the CAS4 / FEM/BDC module (Passenger side footwell area & Engine DME ECU)
    (Intermediate-Advanced Skills to remove)
